Kale Chips with Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil


I wanted to share another quick yummy low cab snack! Kale Chips!

Filippo Berio Olive Oil

All you need is some oil ( I prefer to use Filippo Berio Extra Virgin olive Oil), a bunch of kale, salt, and any other seasonings you like.

This is a great HEALTHY recipe. They actually turn out really crispy just like chips!

Kale Chips


1- Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

2- Wash the kale and take the leaves of them stem. Make sure all the stem is off, they get to get really hard and sharp after they are cooked! Not so good!

3- Pour a tablespoon of oil and “massage” the oil to make sure all the kale leaves are coated. Add more olive oil if needed. Then add salt and seasonings. Don’t put too much because these will shrink and might end up really salty. You can always add more seasoning after.

4- Place them on foil or baking sheet. Try not to make them over lap.

5- Put them in the oven for about 15 minutes. After that take them out and give them a good mix.

6- Put them in for 5-10 more minutes until they are all crispy and yummy!

I was actually really surprised how good they were. I mean they don’t compare to potato chips but are definitely a good alternative!
