Mitzi is a matte green. I really like mattes for lazy days since I don’t need to apply a top coat, hehe. They also dry really quickly. I had to use 3 layers to make it have a smooth finish. It was very streaky on coat one and two. Three did the trick.
I received a mini Zoya Mitzi from Zoya for winning their little Spring Nail Challenge! It was a short little contest where everyone had to submit a picture of their nails with a Zoya bottle in it with the hash tag #ZoyaSpringChallenge. I submitted by Caviar Nail picture and won one of the prizes!
I wanted to jazz it up a bit since it did look very plain and flat. I am use to GLITTER so I need to add something to my nails. I decided to add some flocking powder to resemble “grass” and some gems to make a flower! PERFECT for Spring/ Summer!
I am really enjoying the different nail looks I can do with flocking powder! I have so many colors now so expect more nail art with them (as well as caviar beads). The flocking powder actually lasts a couple days. It can get wet, but the more you get them wet the more dingy they look. I think when flocking powder is used on an accent nail it is much more wearable if you plan on keeping them for a coupe of days.
